The Mozartina Musical Arts Conservatory offers individual instrumental and vocal instruction for children and adults. There is a Fall semester of 15 weeks, a Spring semester of 15 weeks and a summer semester of 6 weeks.
MUSICIANSHIP CLASSES
Musicianship classes are offered free of charge to all Conservatory students who study an instrument or voice. Classes include:
THEORY CLASSES
Theory is the study of the fundamentals of Occidental music. It includes intervals, scales, chords, harmonic analysis, musical form and counterpoint. Students are grouped according to their level of musical knowledge, to be determined by the Conservatory. Children and adults have separate classes.
MOZARTINA EARLY MUSIC ENSEMBLE
Learning and performing Medieval and Renaissance music.

MUSIC THEORY & COMPOSITION
Students are taught the basic music theory as it applies to various styles of composition. Jazz, blues, pop, and classical styles are explored with regard to harmony, melody and rhythm.
ENSEMBLE CLASSES
Auditions are required for all Ensemble Classes so that students of similar performance levels can be matched. Chamber music study is recommended for all intermediate and advanced instrumental students.
MUSIC HISTORY
Lectures and performances are combined to give a general survey of the development of Occidental music.
